22 - Palacios del Sil, ES

Mein Mann und seine Schwester haben uns im Paradies – Santoalla abgeholt und wir reisen langsam nach Hause. Der Camping La Zarapica ist der beste Halt nach 2 Wochen wwooofing – klein, ruhig, familiär, entspannt. Wir leisten uns ein kleines Häuschen mit einer richtigen Dusche … was für ein Luxus :-). Wir baden im Fluss. Es ist schön dort nur einheimische Leute zu treffen, die Picknick machen, baden, in den Fluss springen. Unsere Jungs bauen wieder Kanäle usw. Richard sammelt mit meinem Mann Müll und sie finden einiges…

Der Campingplatz liegt nah am Strand, es hat eine sehr gute Infrastruktur und die Jungs finden hier immer eine gute Beschäftigung. Am Tag genießen wir die Zeit am Meer, gehen joggen, bauen Kugelbahn im Sand, beobachten Ebbe und Flut und am Abend das gute Essen in einem tollen Restaurant mit toller Musik. An einem Abend gab eine lässige Band auch ein Konzert. Am Strand nichts Neues… Müll.

16:00 -19:30 30/08/2022 https://clean-playgrounds.com/event/dune-du-pilat-fr/  Europas größte Wanderdüne ist sehr eindrucksvoll… „Under the effect of wind, the Pilat dune moves by 1 to 5 meters a year eastwards. Little by little it is covering the forest.“ Es ist faszinierend 1000 bis 2000 Jahre alte Baumreste am Strand zu finden. Leider wächst mit der Zeit nicht nur die Düne sondern auch der Müllberg der Zivilisation. Wie kann man an so einem Ort seine Zigarettenkippe fallen lassen.

12:00 -19:00 31/08/2022 https://clean-playgrounds.com/event/la-dune-du-pilat-fr/  Heute möchten wir wieder über die Düne wandern und am Strand baden. Die Düne ist ein Wunder der Natur… Wir sprechen mit einem Einheimischen und er erklärt uns warum gerade hier die Düne entstanden ist… Die Sandbank vor der Düne spielt dabei eine große Rolle. Denn was von der Düne aus wie ein flacher, schmaler Sandstreifen aussieht, ist in Wirklichkeit ein Sandreservoir, das bei Ebbe eine Größe von ca. 8 km2 erreicht – und damit deutlich größer ist als die Düne selbst. Die Meeresströmungen liefern feinen Sand an und transportieren ihn direkt vor die Düne. Das Meer und der Wind sorgen somit für ausreichend Nachschub, so dass die Düne wie eine Walze weiter landeinwärts „rollen“ kann, ohne an Höhe zu verlieren… um die 103 Meter. Anton hilft Müll zu sammeln … Man findet einiges :-(. Europas größter Sandkasten gefällt den Jungs sehr.
